The Grid Index search engines and event tracker have been discontinued. I weighed the maintenance overhead for me vs. the amount of usage (only a few people per day) and decided that this was not a good use of my limited free time. I'd rather see things end cleanly than watch it decline in relevance, becoming more and more stale and outdated as time passes.

No regrets for me: I enjoyed writing a web application (first use of ajax etc) and learned about a lot of new grid computing things from organizing the content.

Below are the current search annotations converted into hyperlinks. They are in no particular order and I don't plan to update. There are around 2700 but many annotations were from the same website because of the way items were categorized in the database. I've intentionally put them on one page for incremental search purposes.

You can still visit this Google page to search any content in most of the links below.

A problem with some of the links is that in many cases an annotation like http://*.somewhere.com/* was converted via regex into http://www.somewhere.com/. In some cases this won't be correct because there are a) several other subdomains and b) not even a 'www' subdomain to begin with. There are also several links with "*" still in them. You'll have to exercise your URL guessing skills in these cases.

Enjoy.
